PS TUTORIAL ♥ Mermaid Kisses

My first tutorial in many many years!

Please do not claim this tutorial as your own. This creation is purely out of my 
own head so any resemblence is purely coincidental. 

I am using Adobe Photoshop CC 14.2.1 for this tutorial. 

You can download the 7 day trial HERE.

Tube of Choice: I am using the beautiful tube of Alex_Prihodko which you can get at PFD
Kit of Choice: I used: Mermaid Kiss Bundle by Deedles Dun It which you can get at Deedles & Doodles
Animation I chose: Animation 157 by Kiya Designs which you can get at Designs by Kiya

Ok...let's begin now ... Don't forget to save often!! Already did the tag to shorten the tutorial.

ANIMATION INSTRUCTIONS:

1. Open up the tag in Photoshop, make sure it is saved in PSD format!
2. Find the animation you want to use. The one I used has 25 layers. Open up the animation PSD file. Click on Frame 1, hold down the shift key and click on Frame 25) until they are all highlighted. (See below). Then click Layer - Group Layers. Right click on layers pallet under "Group 1", then Duplicate Group and make sure your tag file is listed under destination file. (See below)

  


Close out of the animation file as it will be on your tag now. Use the move tool and move animation to above the paper layer. Look for the arrows, hold down the shift and push upward towards the left as it gets smaller. Size to fit the frame layer. Then hit Commit Transform (checkmark icon).


Click on the down arrow on the animation and make sure only frame 1 is open. Look for the "eye" on the layer palette. 


Click Windows, Timeline and click on create animation. In the timeline bar you should see your tag. While on frame 1 at the bottom, go to layers palette and make sure layer 1 of animation is the only layer open. Then duplicate frame again at the bottom which will be frame 2, go to layers palette and make sure layer 2 is only layer open. Do this until all layers (25) are done. Go the Timeline Panel (at the bottom), click each frame to hightlight all of them (holding down the shift key). While all frames are selected, click on "once" and change to "forever". (See below)


Click play animation on the timeline bar. Click back on Frame 1. Click file save to save it, then click save for web, use my settings below. Then save file to computer.

If you want to do other names with the tag, make sure you have your font loaded, then open up the tag and find your name layer; make sure you are on Frame 1 in the Timeline Bar, double click on the name and type new name and it should appear. Save as above!



Volila ~ All done!
